Mrinalini Chandra Delights At LFW Winter/Festive 2014 | Bling Sparkle

Mrinalini Chandra Delights At LFW Winter/Festive 2014

Mrinalini Chandra who designs high fashion jewellery showcased a some stunning pieces on ramp at the recently concluded Lakme Fashion Week .

Mrinalini Chandras Jewllery line for the show was inspired by 'Shakuntala' and had a lot of fish, leaves, insect, monkey and flower motifs in it . Though the jewellery looked over the top and chunky they impressed for its sheer Originality and innovation. Never seen such outstanding statement pieces before.

Models walked down in shakuntala inspired saree drape keeping the make up minimal. The jewllery showcased had some amazing patterned belts, chunky necklaces and jeweled shawls, have a look.

Le Sigh! Creativity at its best. Droools!

Intresting love that hath phool kind of thing she is wearing

Hand cuff looks great

That Fish ring, off to my lust list you go. I. want. It.

great use of butterfly and floral motifs, love the arm bling

Now this is totally wearable statement necklace.

That Choker is Pure Hot

That kalire kind of thing is Cool and another ring to drool on!

The waist belt is so contemporary

The arm candy is lovely

Keeping the outfits plain shakuntala styled sarees worked well to showcase the grandeur of the jewelry but I do wish they used something more innovative and not plain georgettes as canvas! I now want to see these pieces incorporated by bollywood beauties in real life away from the ramp. Not everybody can carry off these dazzling pieces but some one like Sonam Kapoor can do complete justice to it.

My personal favorite from the collection definitely has to that chain link fish scarf, it is stuff royal dreams are made of but I also love the hand jewellery in the last photo. Infact on closer inspection I love almost every thing from this collection but well the fish shawl is an absolute Drool fest.

what is your fav pick from the lot? Do share Smile

Till next

keep it stylish girls
