Bling overload from Lakme Fashion Week S/R 2015
We at blingsparkle totally love sparkle, shimmer and shine when it comes to fashion and that is exactly where our inspiration for the blog domain name comes from.
The recently concluded Lakme Fashion week had an overload of sequins and shimmer which means glitter is totally in trend . everyone from sabyasachi to manish malhotra to anushree reddy had hints of classy sequins sprinkled around. Here are some blingy creations i totally loved.
The opening show by Sabyasachi which was a tribute to disco era had generous doses of shimmer .
I liked Manish Malhotras collection after a real long time . The floral embroidery and mirror works was refreshing. The collection had healthy doses of bling in them.
Marg by soumitra also had some great designs and this very pretty peach lehenga with shimmer dupatta caught my eye. I dont care much for the lehenga but the dupatta i just want to grab it. It is such a versatile piece which can be worn in so many different ways ..

Anushree reddy has some amazing colours and bling in her collection. loved this semi sheer sequined blouse. Also that lehenga is sheer awesomeness .
Anamika khanna did not exactly have shimmer but metallic 3D mirror work dominated her collection
