I am not too much into hair oils , I just give myself a coconut oil champi on weekends, but this dove Elixir oil which claimed to be a serum cum oil sounded fun and I had to try it .
The packaging takes the cake for me. I have never seen hair oil so fancily packaged, like a perfume in a glass bottle with a pump dispenser and tiny rose petals floating in oil. But I wish the bottle was made of plastic rather than glass which would make it so much more travel friendly.
Dove Elixir had nice mild scent and the texture is light weight, not too oily so it can be used as a serum after bath also. I use it both before and after hair wash and it works great after bath managing my frizzy hair.

Verdict: As a serum Dove Elixir hair oil is a great buy, but as a hair oil it doesn’t do anything extraordinary. If you love fancy packaged stuff, just buy it!
