Wet n wild blink pink fuchsia lipstick swatch and review

Time to paint Bling Sparkle with pinks ! Yes , its the pink week challenge *grins*
If you have been following our blog posts than you might have come across our red challenge and now we are back with the Pink lip colors challenge ! BS is going to be flooded with a whole lot of pinks, watch out ;)
Beginning the Pink Week Challenge with one of my favorite pink lipstick from Wet N Wild- Don’t Blink Pink!

I am makeup junkie and love trying new cosmetics ! Be it high end brands or budget friendly ones from the local drug store. I was more than happy when I was gifted this lipstick by my elder sis. She bought two shades , the other one I can’t remember which she kept and handed this lovely shade of pink over to me. Along with was also the same shade color gloss which I lost a few years back but this lipstick has been my favorite pink fuchsia lipstick!
Don’t Blink Pink is a lovely lipstick expect for the packaging, which is very poor! Comes with a transparent lid through which the shade is easily visible but the cap is so loose it tends to fall of at even a light tug. The lipstick bullet isn't completely secure nonetheless the formula is pretty awesome and comparable to matte lipsticks from the high-end brands.
Best budget pink lipstick
Price and Quantity: $ 2.29 for 3.3g

Its a vibrant Fuchsia red toned berry pink that will brighten up your face instantly! Perfect of summers! The color so intense and opaque that it gives lovely coverage within two swipes.
Variant being Reviewed: #966 Don't Blink Pink
Other Variants: #965 Cherry Picking, #967 Dollhouse Pink and #970 Purty Persimmon.
One Word: Diva!
Packaging: The only downside of this lipstick is the packaging. The lipstick comes in a plastic black packaging where the lipstick keeps sticking out and one must be very careful while opening and closing the cap. Plus the cap is so lose it can come off any moment.
Texture: All matte lipsticks need a thin layer of chap stick or balm underneath them, the same here! The formula of this lippy is slightly creamy and soft. It glides on smoothly without much tugging.
Pigmentation: Highly pigmented and gives semi matte finish within 2-3 swipes.
Fragrance: None
Staying Power: 4 hours ! I actually ate a meal and later checked and to my surprise it seemed like I did not need touch ups at all!
Shade/ Colour: A bright fuchsia that will suit fair skin tone and is perfect to wear during summers and winters. Not for dusky beauties. It looks beautiful when applied with a lip brush!
My experience: I am so happy to have found a gem of a lipstick! Its matte plus the formula and color are gorgeous! What more can a lipstick lover girl ask for? ;) Its a beautiful shade of fuchsia and I have not come across such a shade .Most matte lipsticks dry out lips (Had a horrible experience with Incolor Matte me) but this lip beauty does not dry lips and is matte! WOWZOA ! Those who love a gloss over their lipsticks can apply a thin coat of sheer pink gloss to give you that perfect pink pout. Also i prefer to apply this lipstick with a lip brush as its creamy and using a lip brush gives me an even matte finish.
Availability: Very big issue, i don't think you can find this in India, My sis bought it from Amazon.com .
Best fuchsia lipstick
In a Nutshell: It doesn’t bleed neither does it feather plus it has a magnificent staying power for 4 hours at such an affordable price! fades evenly –Love ! i hate lip products that don't fade evenly and appear patchy.
