A few weeks back I was addicted to instagram a lot and when I followed an instagram makeup seller I came upon these cute beauties. Upon reading reviews online I found MN long lasting glosses were dupes of Limecrime hyped velvet lipsticks at a steal deal price ! I am a sucker for dupes of expensive makeup products . I also ended up watching youtube videos where these glosses were reviewed.I checked if I could order them online on ebay but couldn’t find them online and took the risk of buying them offline from an instagram seller. I bought them in two shades and today I will be reviewing shade no 19 !
Price : It cost me INR 99 plus shipping fee of INR 40
Variant being Reviewed: Shade No 19
Other Variants: Available in other 36 variants
One Word: Cheap!
Packaging: The best thing about these glosses is the packaging ! Posh for the price they are available for. It comes in a cutesy sleek test tube plastic bottle packaging which is transparent and the color of the gloss is clearly visible. The doe foot applicator also allows easy application
Texture: They are creamy and settle into matte finish but the only thing is they might feel tacky on lips which can erased by adding some translucent powder on the lips or a lip balm.
I feel the tackiness does remain and you can feel it when your press your lips together so its best you use a matte balm or a lip balm over this.
Pigmentation: Highly pigmented and the color shows is just one swatch ! Survives a meal so yes its so fabulous!
Fragrance: Smells plasticky.
Staying Power: Good staying power and lasts longer then many high end brands.
Shade/ Colour: A red hich has dark accents of orange in them
My experience: I bought them but was disappointed by their texture as I learnt my lips are not friendly to tacky feeling even for 10 mins. Other than I had no complains. I loved the color play off and the staying power, though I might not use them but I am going to keep them in y wardrobe for their lovely packaging!
Availability: Available on ebay , flipkart and on instagram.
In a Nutshell: If you are looking for limecrime velvetine dupes and want fabulous lipglosses in matte dark shades go for it!
