Hence,we used to wait eagerly for summer vacations so we could get beautiful henna drawn on our hands ! Yes ! Right from my childhood I was fond of henna mehendi ! There is this mehendi named ‘Singh’ sold in local stores all over India , I have been using Singh mehendi cones to apply mehendi on my palms for years.
Women love adorning their hands and feet with henna ., undoubtedly beautiful henna designs not only augment a woman’s natural beauty, but add a touch of elegance as well. The most popular among mehendi designs is the Arabic design even though the henna trend began in India. Indians prefer the detailed mehndi design but young women who have little time opt for arabic designs which consume less time when applied ! The trend of detailed mehndi has gone for now, and Arabic mehndi is back after many years, with its big circles and flowers ,arabic mehndi design is here to stay !
Arabic style of applying henna is also my personal favorite. Nowadays brides to be are opting for a different look and therefore end up zeroing on arabic style of mehendi for its simplicity and loveliness! Lovely as it looks Arabic style of mehendi is quite flowing in nature , compromising patterns of leaves, vines, and flowers whilst the Indian style of mehendi design ensures that the whole hand is filled with intricate design, which also in turn is time consuming and needs a lot of practice and talent but as for Arabic style of mehndi its easier to draw and young women often prefer arabic over Indian.
