Aishwarya Rai chose a gold embellished creation from kuwait deisgner Ali Younes to walk don Cannes red carpet for the screening of the film Slack Bay((Ma Loute). The gold shimmery gown had a dramatic cape detailing which paired with smokey bold blue eyes made for a striking look.


This is Aishwarya Rai's 15th year at Cannes film festival and I was surprised to see her pick a lesser known designer and not go for big names like Elie Saab, roberto Cavalli, Ralph Russo or Armani for her milestone year. 

The Styling of the gown with blue eye look was a good move but the gown deserved a low knot . The open hair did not go well with the gown and it did not photograph well too. The golden gown and dramatic makeup look has been done several times by aishwarya Rai at cannes and open hair worked beautifully with her Roberto Cavalli appearance.

The Nude embellished gown with its cape trail actually made Aishwaryas tummy fat look very prominent. I dont know why Aishwarya picked a gown which reveals her problem area, her recent looks in India never made her look fat. The tummy fat actually is very big , is Aishwarya pregnant and choosing Cannes to announce the world her second baby?

In this look where Aishwarya Rai just recently launched Cannes 2016 loreal Paris collection , she looks anything but fat and the tummy fat is nowhere is sight.


This is the 69th edition of Cannes International Film Festival and Sonam Kapoor is also slated to walk the red carpet on 13th and 14th may.
