Aishwarya Rai does Purple lips with Rami Kadi gown at Sarbjit Cannes Premiere

Neon Liliac Lips
Deep Smokey Eyes
Off-Shoulder Princessy Gown
Sleek Ponytail
All come together to create the most bizzare look of recent times

After playing relatively safe on the first two red carpet outings at French riviera Aishwarya went all dramatic in her embellished Rami Kadi gown. All it took was a lavender lip colour to turn heads and get people talking, I must say master stroke by Aishwaryas team for planning this look on the same day when rival Sonam was slated to walk the red carpet. I bet the media and fashion police is going to talk more about Aishwary's and her purple lips than Sonam kapoor in her custom Ralph Russo trail gown.

If Aishwarya Rai wanted to do the purple lip she could have picked a more fierce and edgy gown to go with it. This disney princess kind of gown with that lip colour is a total mismatch. It was such a pretty gown and such a pretty face alas, all ruined by that bizzare shade on lips.

Aishwarya Rai was attending the premiere of her upcoming movie sarbjit and this is her 15th consecutive year at cannes. As a Makeup company's brand ambassador I appreciate Aishwarya for taking risks and experimenting with makeup but is this lip shade really from Loreal collection? I havent come across a lavender lip colour in any of their collection launched in india.

Earlier Aishwarya Rai wore a Rohit Bal anarkali with a metallic embellished jacket for Sarbjit photocall. Somekey eyes, nude lips and open hairfinishe dout this look. A statement necklace was also added to this already busy look.  Aishwarya looks good in this look but i dont like the outfit much.

What do you think of the purple lips ? Dramatic and fun or plain bizarre?
