Oriflame Pure Colour Lipstick in Sheer Rose : Review & Swatch

This is the only lipstick I own from Oriflame , the other lip products I own from Oriflame are either Lip crayons or glosses. This lipstick was a gift and hence it isn’t a surprise that it din’t look good on me. Although the texture is good and creamy the lipstick hardly shows on my lips plus the lipstick bullet is so delicate , I thought it would break off everytime I applied it! I own two lipsticks from this range and I like the other lipstick which is ‘Soft coral’ much more than this.

One Word: Light-weight!
Packaging: Comes in an ordinary black plastic packaging with a transparent cap which has the brand’s name written over it in white. I found the packaging to be travel friendly for its very light but the lipstick tends to stick at the top of inside of the bullet cap which is very unattractive!

Texture: Waxy and creamy texture, feels light on the lips. Glides smoothly and gives a sheer color on lips.
Pigmentation: This as the name suggests is a sheer color of rose, does not hide pigmentation and requires 5-6 swipes to show on the lips
Fragrance: Smells like wax
Staying Power: 1.5 hours

Shade/ Colour: Sheer baby pink
My experience: The formula of the lipstick i so creamy that it tends to break on every application plus this shade of sheer pink will wash out the medium to dusky beauties. It looks kind of okay on me but does nothing for my face.

In a Nutshell: I have issues with the sheer color which is hardly visible on my lips and the creamy formula plus the thing that it has very less staying power is a let down. I wouldn’t recommend this lipstick but you can try other lipsticks from their range, I have tried soft coral which faired better than this !
