Aplava.com Shopping website review and Haul

The weather in Bangalore is back to being the normal cool, calm and wet types. The sun is playing hide and seek and it rains almost everyday. The rains are worsening traffic in my city and that coupled with me fasting during Ramadan limited my shopping trips. At times like these online shopping comes as a boon to fulfill my retail therapy cravings. Today I will talk about my experience with new beauty shopping portal aplava.com where I shopped for my Eid beauty needs while fasting.

About Aplava

A strange name for a beauty destination, you say? I thought the same and on a little research I found that aplava has its origins in sanskrit means taking a bath to purify oneself and just as the name suggests, Aplava aims to give its customers an experience of divine purity.
Beauty products online shopping can be done on Aplava. They also offer baby products and Men's beauty. They also specialize in beauty services after asking questions regarding skin type, skin issues and skin tone.

My experience with Aplava.com

Personalized beauty solutions is a very unique  thing about Aplava.com which makes it different from other online beauty destinations. The site asks you some quetions regarding your skin tone, type and issues to reccomend products for you. I tried this feature too but since I was shopping for eid and wanted to shop beauty not skin care so i did not pay much attention to their recommended products. I shopped makeup using the brands tab and the navigation and payment process is simple and easy. I recived my order 4 days later in a cardboard box with aplava logo printed on it. The products were neatly bubble wrapped and safe inside.
On opening the order i found out that one item was missing so immediately called the customer support. They apologized and told me the missing product was not in stock and will be shipped next day when stock arrives. I received the missing product today like a belated eid gift :)

Peek into my beauty haul

Eid is the time when I dress up in my ethnic best and I plan my eid look weeks in advance . I wanted a perfect red lip and blue eyes to go with my pale yellow anarkali lehenga. I had many red lip colours already but I wanted a new one for eid so settled for Revlon coorburst matte balm in striking. I dont have many coloured liners and my lakme absolute voilet liner has dried uo o I chose 2 shades of blue liners from coloressence. Bright red lips and blue eyes means I had to tone down my blush so i decided to try the revlon highlighter instead of blush. My Maybelline makeup remover is almost finished so I brought this cute colerssence makeup remover and olay face wash to try.
