Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream 01 Review and Swatch
Today I am going to introduce you to the most affordable and amazing red lip colour from the brand Miss Claire. Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Creams are a budget dupes of NYX soft matte lip creams.
I love matte finishes when it comes to lip colours these days and my NYX Amsterdam was getting over, i wanted to repurchase it and couldn't find it anywhere at a reasonable price. Finally Sephora launched its first store in Bangalore. I was planning to visit Sephora just to stock up on NYX, when I read about these budget friendly dupes from Mehak (at peachesandblush.com) and i decided to give these a try before restocking on NYX lip creams.

Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Creams are packaged exactly like the NYX lip creams in a plastic color coded tube with a black applicator cap . Very travel friendly and light weight and the applicator wand is sponge doe foot one which spreads the colour evenly on lips.
The texture is again similar to NYX lip cream . It is creamy, feel light on the lips and sets down to give a semi matte finish in like 60 seconds after application. It is matte and lightly drying on lips so I properly moisturize and exfoliate my lips before applying this. These lip creams do transfer a wee bit and stay for about 4 hours with light snacks in between.
The shade 01 is warm red with orange undertones . I love shades like these which brighten up my face and suit most Indian skin tones. This is a sort of red every one can carry off without coming across as over the top. the pigmentation is amazing and with 3 swipes you get amazing coverage on pigmented lips. The Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream shade 01 is red but it isn't anywhere close to NYX Amstredam which a true red with no undertones

Overall These are absolute must haves and if you love mate lip colours you should actually get more than one shade form this range. I already have 3 shades and i will soon be adding more to my collection. They are affordable, matte and stay for a decently long time, whats not to love? Go get them.

- Semi matte finish
- Stays for 4 hours easily
- Travel friendly packaging
- Highly pigmented
- Nice useful doe foot applicator
- Easy to apply unlike matte lipsticks which need to be applied with a lip brush
- Nice wearable red with orange undertone
- not too drying despite being matte
What could be better?
- Availability is a BIG issue
- shades have numbers not names
- settles on fine line if you don't exfoliate lips
Despite all its cons i love these lip creams deeply.
