Your wedding date is nearing, shopping is on full swing and there is a lot of planning to do too. Amidst all this you should take good care of your skin to have that extra glow on your big day.
Wedding planning can be a stressful affair for bride which can have direct effect on your sleep so make sure you sleep right and eating right is also important for a radiant well behaved skin before, during and after your wedding.
Here is the beauty routine you can follow one month before your wedding for a radiant bridal look.
- Cleanse-Tone-Moisturize-Sunscreen everyday
The cleanse, tone and moisturize routine is important to follow on a daily basis and it becomes even more important for brides to be. In addition to CTM brides need to religiously apply sunscreen to get protection from sun damage especially with all the shopping involved. Also stay away from sun as much as you can and carry umbrellas, scraves, sunglasses and hats for protection when you head out
- Cleanse with a mild cleanser twice a day
- Tone with rose water or a paraben free toner
- Moisturize with a moisturizer suiting your skin type. For sensitive skin go for a noncomedogenic moisturizer, for oily skin try an oil free moisturizer like clean and clear . Dry skinned beauties need a very hydrating moisturizer like lotus herbals. Also dont forget to apply body lotions after bath and before hitting the bed.
- Protect your skin from sun with a high SPF sunscreen from a well known brand.
- Use a night cream
At night everyday cleanse your face and follow up with a nourishing and hydrating night cream which will help your skin stay supple, smooth and soft. You should also use an eye cream to keep dark circles at bay . A foot cream and hand cream should also be used if you have very dry skin.Try oxy glow night cream if you have dry skin
-Exfoliate
Once every week exfoliate with a face scrub to get rid of dead skin cells.
-Pamper your lips
Your lips will attract a lot of attention all through your wedding with majority of your wedding photographs being neck up requiring you to smile so it is important to take care of your lips. Use a lip balm with SPF 30 in the day to prevent chapped lips. At night apply a generous coat of a hydrating lip balm to nourish and restore. Baby lips from maybelline is very hydrating . You should also exfoliate your lips with a lip scrub .
-Sleep well
Puffy eyes and dark circles are what you get when you dont get enough sleep. Dont stress yourself and get 8 hours of sleep .
- Drink water
For fresh looking glowing skin your body needs to be properly hydrated. Drink atleast 8 glasses of water daily irrespective of your skin type. You can also eat water rich fruits like watre melon or grape fruit and rely on fresh fruit juices.-Eat healthy
What you eat has direct effect on your skin. Avoid junk food and carbonated drinks and increase intake of greens and fibrous foods. Alcohol also should be avoided
-Relax at a spa
Stressed brides is a normalcy these days which has direct effect on your beauty and healthy. Remind yourself to relax and visit a Spa to calm your senses and for some alone time.
