L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lip Color in Maple Mocha Review || Perfect Everyday Wear Brown

Brown lip colours look gorgeous on Indian skin tones but I dont have too many browns in my stash as they tend to make me look a bit mature. I wanted a nice everyday wear lip colour which isnt too brown or too nude and I zeroed on this shade called Maple Mocha from L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte range. I have had this lipstick for almost a year now and todays review is going to be about this very lip colour.

Packaging of L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lip Color in Maple Mocha:

The moist matte range of lipsticks from Loreal come in a coppery gold metallic tube with a square in the middle which represents the colour inside. This packaging is very travel friendly and classy. I love how sophisticated and luxurious the lipstick tube looks.

My experience with L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lip Color in Maple Mocha

The texture of L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lip Color  is light weight and it glides smoothly on my lips giving a soft matte finish. I love how this lipstick isnt very drying on lips even though it is matte perfectly justifying the 'moist matte' name. I have very dry lips so I do use a lip balm underneath.
The colour of this lipstick is the main reason I decided to splurge on this lipstick. The Shade Maple mocha(R511) is a gorgeous rusty brick brown which will look nice on warm Indian skin tones. This shade is very versatile and you can wear it everyday at home, to office or even to events and parties paired with a dramatic eye look. This can be a good MLBB colour for a lot of Indian skin tones but you need to try it in store before buying as it can easily wash out darker complexions. On me it looks a tad bit darker to call it MLBB but it instantly brightens up my complexion. My favourite way of wearing this lip colour is applying it over a wash of orange lip colour for a true MLBB shade.

This L’Oreal Paris Maple mocha lipstick has amazing pigmentation and just a single swipe is enough to give you good colour pay off  but I anyway go for 2 swipes for complete opaque colour on lips. After application the lip colours lasts for about 4 hours after which it fades of evenly leaving a beautiful tint behind. The colour transfers very lightly and can survive light snacks but you will have to reapply after a meal. Removal of this lipstick is easy as it doesnt stain lips like cheap lip colours do.

Pro Tip: Mixing lip colours is easy way to experiment without splurging. Try layering an orange lip colour with a brick brown to make your own custom MLBB shade. (I wear Revlon just bitten balm stain rendezvous under Loreal Maple mocha)
