Lakme 9 to 5 Creaseless Lipstick In red Chaos Review & Swatch

My recent haul from Jabong.com included lipsticks from my favorite Indian cosmetic brand –Lakme ! I picked up two lipsticks from the 9 to 5 range , the lakme absolute sculpt studio hi definition matte lipstick in Rose Bloom and Lakme 9 to 5 creaseless lipstick in Red Chaos . Here is the review for the first one. I saw many of my favorite youtubers use Lakme Lipstick in red Chaos and it was topping my must buys , hence when Jabong had 40% off I had to buy this beauty. Read on to know my thoughts about this nude lipstick.
My search for a nude lipstick which had a feel of MLBB ended with Red Chaos , the name is very misleading as its no where close to red. Its a beautiful peachy browny nude that would suit medium to deep skin tones and would be a pretty brown on fairer complexions.

Packaging Of Lakme 9 to 5 Creaseless Lipstick In Red Chaos:

The shiny rose gold packaging is uber cute and actually makes the lipstick look a lot more pricier than it really is. The packaging is quite sturdy and cap closes with  the sound of click. I find the lipstick to be very travel friendly and its a great lipstick to be carried to work or college.

Pigmentation

Lakme 9 to 5 lipsticks are decently pigmented and a single swipe is enough to hide the pigmentation of my lips. The color is buildable which I really like about this baby

Texture:

I was in love with the feathery and soft like formula of this lipstick. It is not drying in any way and it has a powdery matte finish to it. It does not bleed or feather around the corners of the mouth.

Red Chaos as I mention earlier is nowhere close to red. It doesn’t have any hint of a red. Its more of a peachy pinky brown with hints of coral in it. Its the perfect MLBB shade for my lips. It would suit Medium to dusky complexions easily.

Staying Power:

The staying power is definitely exaggerated by Lakme as it hardly stays for about 4 hours on my lips and does not survive meals , light or heavy. You need to reapply it after a meal.

My Thoughts On Lakme 9 to 5 Creaseless Lipstick In red Chaos

The Pricing factor and almost all online website portals have a whopping 30-40% off on these lipsticks by lakme which I loved. I plan on buying more shades from this range.
Secondly it would be the texture which is buttery and light weight. The color payoff is great and it would be a beautiful MLBB shade for medium complexions who do not have a yellow tone to their skin.

Overall Lakme 9 to 5 Creaseless Lipstick In red Chaos is a very beautiful and everyday wear lipstick and in the current stage of matte’s being the trend its a great rosy lipstick that would suit Indian Skin Tones. You can pair this lipstick with a smokey eye or a dramatic look and it wouldn’t over power the whole look. If you are looking for lovely wearable shades that are affordable and budget friendly do give this a try!
