Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation 01 Review

Today I am going to talk about a product which is very close to my heart. Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation was my first ever foundation which I had brought about 7 years back. I have used many different foundations after trying this and for some strange reason never went back to it.

Recently when my skin tone changed because of spending most of my time indoors I decided to get a lighter foundation to mix with my normal foundation and get a custom shade . I decided to go for an affordable foundation and invisible finish from lakme was my first choice. Today I will be reviewing this budget beauty product.

Packaging of Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation :

This foundation from Lakme comes in a sturdy glass bottle with a maroon screw cap. The cap has a spatula attached for easy dispensing of product. The glass bottle needs to be handled with care and a pump packaging would keep things more hygienic but for the price I cant really complain.

Coverage: Sheer to medium

My experience with Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation:

When it comes to foundations I can trust lakme to get the shades right for Indian skin tones. The shade 01 is lighter than my complexion but it doesnt look weird or artificial on my face. The invisible finish foundation is runny in texture and blends easily into skin giving a true to its name 'invisible' sort of finish with a healthy glow and evened out skin tone.

The coverage is pretty decent and you cant expect major scars or blemished to be concealed  but it works nicely like a everyday wear foundation. Most people these days prefer BB creams, CC creams or tinted moisturizers for a daily makeup base but if you are a foundation kind of person this invisible finish foundation from lakme will work nicely for you.

I have dry skin so I moisturize my skin before using this foundation which gives a very matte finish. Oily skinned beauties will love this water based formula which also has SPF 8 which is kind of waste as it wont provide adequate sun protection and will definitely need a proper sunscreen underneath. I also love how light weight it feels on my skin giving a nice matte finish which looks natural

Now coming to the staying power of this foundation which is again very average and I wouldn't recommend it people in humid areas as it melts with sweat. I am using this foundation in winters and it stays easily for about 4 hours on my face. You can make it more long lasting with a primer underneath.

Would I buy this product again?
Yes , because I cant still find my perfect shade match with international brands like LOreal and maybelline.

Do I recommend this?
Yes. Do give this a try if you are a makeup beginner or college going girl.

Overall I totally love Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation which smoothens my skin tone and adds a healthy glow without hurting my wallet much. I wish lakme tweaked the formula a bit and made it water resistant so it lasted longer. If you are a beginner or cant find your perfect foundation match try this range as it is a nice everyday wear foundation which blends like a dream
