Lakme Absolute Kohl Ultimate Kajal Review | Best Jet Black Kajal
I love wearing kajal on my eyes and most of the times it is the only makeup I wear. Some months back my dark circles intensified and applying kajal made them appear more prominent giving me smudged panda eyes by end of the day.
I have tried to up my kohl game and invested in smudge proof kajals like Maybelline colossal kajal and even lakme eyeconic kajal but both dint last long on my waterline and the pigmentation was also not as per my liking. Finally I decided to skip kohl kajal from my makeup routine and went for thik eyeliner with loads of mascara look. This prevented racoon eyes but I missed kajal a lot and then one friend suggested me to try Lakme Absolute Kohl Ultimate Kajal which is deep black, smudgeproof and super creamy. Texture: Creamy smooth texture which glides like a dream on my waterline and lash line.
Pigmentation: Highly pigmented. Two swipes is all you need for jet back eyes unlike other kajals like colossal or eyeconic where I had to swipe multiple times for dark colour.
Staying Power:
I Can deal with texture and packaging flaws but I hate touch ups so I always go for long staying products. The main reason I splurged on Lakme Absolute Kohl Ultimate kajal was it claimed to give me super long wear in addition to being water proof and smudge proof. Iam happy to say that this product delivers all that it claims and lasts for almost 7-8 hours on my waterline. I wouldnt say this is 100% smudge proof kohl as I have notices a slight transfer of kajal from waterline to lower lash line but it is very minimal and definitely doesnt give me panda eyes at the end of the day. the staying power of this kohl as me sold and I am so going to repurchase it again and again. Finally found my HG kohl kajal.
Colour: Deep jet back. The darkest deepest black kohl kajal I have used and it helps that it is creamy and smooth and gets applied in a single swipe.

The lakme kohl kajal comes in a black plastic body pencil form with a back cap. The other end of the pencil has a rubber smudger attached which is a bit too tough so I dont use it for smudging my kohl. - Like a kohl kajal on your wateline. Lasts 8 hours and doesnt cause any irritation to eyes
- Wear pencil liner on upper lash line as lakme kohl can be sharpened for a pinted tip
- You can even use it to tight line eyes
- Create a smokey eye look with this kajal and a smudging brush but make sure to smudge it as soon as you apply or the kajal will refuse to budge
