MUA Blusher Shade 4 Review

The best things in the world can be hard to get - the same can be said about the MUA Blush in Shade no 4 which retails at £1, performs pretty well but sadly is not easily available in India!

Thankfully, in the recent days some of the Indian beauty websites like Nykaa and Jabong have started housing International brands like NYX, MUA, L.A Girl and Makeup Revolution, but the only problem is the price which hikes up with the availability! 2 Months back there was a Sale on Jabong.com and I was baffled by the Flat 75% off they were offering on MUA and Makeup Revolution. Obviously the 75% was on their price of the product and not its original price but still it was a deal I couldn't have missed even in my freaking dreams. So I went ahead and made a haul and that's when I came across the MUA Blush in the shade 4. To know how it fared on me, read on...

Price and Quantity:

£1 Abroad, but INR 750 in India for 2.4 gm ( I bought it for INR 188/- after 75% off on Jabong)

Variant being Reviewed:

MUA Blusher in Shade 4

Ingredients:

Other Variants:

Shade 1, shade 2, shade 3 & shade 5

One Word:

Pretty!

Packaging of MUA Blusher Shade 4:

The MUA Blusher in Shade 4 comes in a classy rectangular packaging with a transparent lid which makes it very easy to distinguish the color, if you own more than one shades of this blush like me then this makes it very easy to locate and distinguish the products. The brand is imprinted on top of the lid and all the other details are available on the back side of the blush. I love how the packaging is simple yet sturdy and sleek which makes it ideal for travel. Pinky points for the packaging!

Texture:

The texture of the blush looks powdery from outside but in reality its silky and soft. I was surprised when I swatched it on my hand and quite impressed when I applied it on my cheeks. The texture is buildable and doesn't look cakey if you do so.

Pigmentation:

The MUA Blusher in Shade 4 is SUPER Pigmented which is what I love the most about this blush, You get the same color as shown in the actual product and one swipe is enough to get the desired colour.

Fragrance:

None.

Staying Power:

Stays for about 2-3 hours without primer underneath - the only con about this blush!

Shade/ Colour:

MUA Blusher in Shade 4 is a universally flattering warm peach shade with pink undertones. It gives a nice natural glow to my cheeks. I also use it as a crease color for my eyes and it looks really pretty as it's matte with just a hint of shimmer.

My experience with MUA Blusher Shade 4:

I have a thing for blushes - I JUST can't get enough of them! This range of blushes is so raved about all over the Blogosphere that I had always wanted to try them. Finally I bought it on Jabong at a very amazing price of 188/- and was very pleased with my purchase. Let me be truthful that this is not really the best blush out there but for the price it's really is something you should own. The color is a very pretty peachy shade with pink undertones which gives a very natural 'my cheeks but better' look. This shade 4 blush will look pretty on all Indian skin tones and can be worn as both a day and night blush. It has a matte texture with just a hint of shimmer which is not really visible. What I love about this blush is that it's a three in one - 'blush + mild highlighter + soft contour' for me. It has the goodness of three worlds in it and is ideal for travelling when I like to carry many products.

Availability:

Available on Jabong.com and International websites like Amazon.com and Ulta.com which ship to India. Cannot be found offline.

Would I buy this product again?

I would like to try shade no 5 now.

Do I recommend this MUA Blush?

Yes. It's definitely worth a try for it's pretty color which gives a natural look. I love the packaging and the pigmentation of this blush too. This is definitely one of the best blush for Indian skin tones. If you are okay with an average staying power then you should definitely pick this up!
