The only time I would consider buying Loreal products would be on a sale for there is no denying their pricing hurts my wallet ! Loreal has some of the most amazing beauty products in terms of quality but when it comes to the pricing factor, I am sure not many of us would be willing to spend so much on a lipstick or a blush. With Loreal brand ambassadors walking the red carpet and winning fashion accolades in the past week I thought I would review a blush by Loreal Paris. I have loved products by loreal ever since I brought the LO'real Moist Matte Lipstick In Lincoln Rose . Its one of the most beautiful red lipstick I own. I purchased a few more LOreal products when they were on a sale on Amazon.in because if they aren’t on a sale I being broke all the time can hardly give a thought of buying em. The blush fared really well and felt pricey even after I bought it on a discounted rate. Sigh. I loved the rose gold packaging and if you want to know how this blush fared with me keep on reading!
L'Oreal Paris Lucent Magique Blush, Duchess Rose 01
L'Oreal Paris Lucent Magique Blush Fuschia Flush 02
L'Oreal Paris Lucent Magique Blush Paradise Coral 07
It stays for a straight 3 hours after which it starts fading and leaves a sweet shiny glow.
The small brush which comes along with the blush is untouched in my case and I found the texture and the pigmentation could be much better . the small brush can be used to apply the highlighter shade .But overall I love this blush for its texture is lovely and the packaging makes me happppy!

One Word:
SubtlePackaging:
The best thing about this blush would be the high end classy rose gold packaging. It looks like a Bobbi Brown packaging or even better. The packaging speaks of luxury and richness. It is hard to resist this blush as the packaging is sturdy and very appealing! It has an inbuilt mirror and comes with a soft small brush of its own. Even though the brush is of no use you can easily use it to touch up your makeup while in a hurry or when travelling.Texture:
the texture is worth it for its soft , smooth and buttery. I like to swipe all the three strips together and apply lightly on my cheeks. They aren’t chalky and blend seamless into the skin. But the powder tends to fly everywhere around the pallete and hence makes it messy every time I swirl my real technique powder brush on it. It blends like second skin .Pigmentation:
This particular is not very pigmented and would not show up on dusky beauties. Its a very subtle and fades into a very light shimmery highlighter after 3-4 hours. they have very less staying power given the price we are paying for this blush is very high.Shade/ Colour:
L’Oreal Paris Lucent Magique Blush Sunset Glow has three strips to boast off. The first strip is a peachy highlight shade , the second strip is a beautiful pinky peachy light blush strip and the third one is the darkest among all three. Overall it gives a luminous sunset glow on my cheeks. Staying Power:It stays for a straight 3 hours after which it starts fading and leaves a sweet shiny glow.
My experience :
I hardly use this blush as I like it when my cheeks have a healthy blushed look. This gives more of a sun kissed glowy peachy-coraly look to my face. It does not show on cheeks when i swipe it once, I have to apply it 3-4 times and build the color for the blush to show up on my face. Also i thought that every time I picked up the product from my blusher brush there was a lot of product wastage due to powder fall out. My heart would break to see such an expensive blush go in waste. I use this blush when I want to do a sun kissed glammed up neutral look. Or if i am planning on doing a smokey eye , this is a great blush to give my cheeks a healthy glow with a little color. The small brush which comes along with the blush is untouched in my case and I found the texture and the pigmentation could be much better . the small brush can be used to apply the highlighter shade .But overall I love this blush for its texture is lovely and the packaging makes me happppy!
Availability:
Available online at Flipkart, Amazon and Nykaa .Also available easily in L’Oreal stores at shoppers Stop and Lifestyle stores. What’s good:
- Pretty rose gold packaging with a mirror and a brush for touch ups.
- Has milled shimmer particles which give a healthy glow to my cheeks
- Three different colors to play with
- Gives a sun kissed look
- Soft and buttery texture
- Good for beginners in makeup.
What could be better:
- Needs two-three swipes for the color to show on the cheeks.
- Very expensive. The worst part is that they keep on increasing the price of this blush!
- The staying power is not impressive for the price you are paying.

Would I buy this product again?
I would love to own Blushing Kiss and Fuschia flush from the same range and would not buy the same shade as its going to last me a long time.Do I recommend this?
Buy it if you love subtle blushes and keep an eye out on Nykaa and Amazon.in as they have discounts going on L’Oreal products. I believe it can be purchased when it is on a sale and its not worth INR 950!Also Read:
