L'Oreal Star Collection Lipstick in FIRE Review and Swatch
If you took away all my makeup.. every single bit of it and just gave me this lipstick to keep - I wouldn't protest! This lipstick is true love for me.
All shades from this range: Pure Brick (Aishwarya Rai), Pure Scarleto (Blake Lively), Pure Garnet (Sonam Kapoor), Pure Vermeil (Fan BingBing), Pure Amaranthe (Gong Li), Pure Rouge (Frieda Pinto), Pure Fire (Li BingBing).
I have already talked about it in tens of posts, the recent one being the Bridal lipsticks feature.
Packaging: The packaging is a hot black and gold tube with a square in the middle which represents the colour inside. This packaging is very travel friendly.
About the shade FIRE: It's one perfect orange red with coral hints which will beautiful on all Indian skin tones. I have received LOADS of compliments whenever I have worn it.
Everything from the texture of this lipstick to the amazing colour and staying power is spiffing. This is one shade of lipstick I wouldn't mind spending a 1000 bucks or even more on.
What's the staying power?: It's very good. The lipstick lasts for a good 6-7 hours without touch ups.
Does it dry my lips?: No. Not at all. The formula is a moisturizer semi-matte one which doesn't dry up lips.
Does it hide pigmentation?: Completely. The texture is very opaque.
Does it transfer?: If you touch it as soon as you apply it, it does transfer. But once it has dried on teh lips it does nit transfer.
How does it smell?: the scent is very mild, so mild that I can't really describe it.
Does it earn you compliments? : Truck loads of compliments! ;) :D
Should you buy it?: Totally!
Any negative points?: Well for this shade, NONE!!
